Eligo International is a dynamic and well-established public relations and public affairs company offering its clients innovative, creative and competitively priced communications solutions. Our experienced team of communications experts are engaged in developing and pro-actively executing the communications needs of statesmen and public figures, governments, diplomatic missions, senior corporate and industry leaders at home and abroad.
From our inception, this has embraced all aspects of client communications including media relations, issues and crisis management, economic, trade, tourism and cultural promotion, co-ordination of VIP visits, as well as personal profiling and reputation management programmes.
Our high-level assignments, which can range from one off short-term projects to multi-year programmes, are run from Eligo’s Central London headquarters and through its strategic partners around the world.
Founded in 1997 by Anthony
Bailey, Eligo International has led the way in three principal disciplines – international diplomacy, reputation management and public affairs. We are recognised for our discreet hands-on frank advice and ultimately, for the results we produce.
International Diplomacy and its communications needs
For governments, diplomatic missions and other official
bodies, Eligo leads the way in co-ordinating and implementing
the many complex communications requirements needed
in today’s 24 hour global diplomatic environment.
The company, whose executives often come from prominent
government, diplomatic and parliamentary backgrounds,
has become an important addition globally to a government’s
or diplomatic mission’s function of promoting
and enhancing bilateral ties.
Eligo International have worked in unison
with its clients to achieve key objectives and to maximise
client opportunities. This includes work at international
forums such as the European Union in Brussels, the GATT/WTO
summits in Geneva and Marrakech, as well as at Commonwealth
Heads of Government Meetings. In the trade and tourism
arena we have developed ministerial strategies from
the World Travel Market in London to the International
Tourism Exchange in Berlin. The company is also active
in building client’s political and parliamentary
links with national parliaments and governments as well
as improving economic and political environments across
six continents.

Politically,
Eligo executives have co-ordinated many bilateral
VIP visits by Heads of State and Government, reigning
and non-reigning royalty and ministers from London
to Lima, Riyadh to Rome, Sofia to Stockholm, Dublin
to Moscow, Vatican City to Marrakech, Ljubljana
to Cairo, Lisbon to Amman and Paris to Washington
DC. Recently this has included major visits and
the launching of promotional programmes |

Our expert media team have developed and
successfully launched media campaigns for government
bodies and diplomatic missions which have raised the
awareness of a country’s economic, political,
cultural, tourism, opportunities and attractiveness.
We have also in times of national and international
trouble succeeded in defending a country’s image
against media and public attack through setting up issues
and crisis management systems. Recent examples have
included the terrorist attacks on tourists in Egypt,
political and economic crisis in Peru, as well as around
bilateral VIP visits such as for the President of Sri
Lanka on her visit to Britain.
Corporate communications
Eligo also meets the high demands of corporate communications and the company has developed successful programmes to meet the needs of leading industrial, transport, consumer, property, tourism and financial businesses including market entry strategies and special and VIP events programmes. This work, which can be as much behind the scenes as in public, has in recent years included Shell International, BAE SYSTEMS, General Mediterranean Holdings, Raffles Group of Companies and Shell Companies in Saudi Arabia.
Philanthropic and charitable foundations
Since
the launch of Eligo, the company has played a key role
in the promotion of national and international philanthropic
and charitable foundations and organisations across
the world. In recent years, this has included pro-actively
profiling to key opinion formers and decision markers
each foundation and organisation and its leadership.
A number of Eligo’s key executives come from the
charity and
philanthropic field and work with our clients in establishing
worthy exchange programmes between similar organisations
and state personalities. Examples of our recent work
are for the King Faisal Foundation of Saudi Arabia whom
we linked up with Britain’s Prince’s Foundation
to form what was heralded as the largest cultural exchange
programme between the two countries. Other client examples
include The Prince of Venice Foundation, Espirito Santo
Foundation of Portugal and the newly established Arab
Thought Foundation.
Eligo’s flexibility and competitive
pricing structure
Due
to Eligo's size, the company guarantees flexibility
and allows its senior partners to be constantly available
for their clients during each project or programme,
thereby avoiding the bureaucratic organisation so commonly
seen with larger multi-national communications groups.
Many of our executives are also full members of the
leading industry think tanks and self-regulatory bodies
such as the International Public Relations Association,
the Charted Institute of Public Relations in the UK, the Foreign
Press Association and in the political field, the Royal
Institute of International Affairs.
Today’s
Eligo executives, have in large part come to Eligo from
some of the world’s leading communications and
consulting firms yet we have established a competitive
pricing structure which makes Eligo International affordable
for clients of all sizes.
In short, our wealth of experience and
the determination to provide innovative, high quality,
competitively priced services ensure both our current
and prospective government and corporate clients the
best communications solutions. Our effective coverage
of Europe’s geography, as well as our extensive
network of associates around the globe, make us an ideal
partner for the global, national or local communications
needs of our clients.
